Kaydon James is a South African brand which was inspired by the love of fashion and creativity found in the South African culture and appreciation for something bold and new. Art has always had a deep connection to expression, so finding a way to bring both art and fashion together was a natural step of progression in the fashion landscape.

The brand was started as an idea, simply painting on pre-loved clothes. This idea grew and developed into something bigger. The idea is to make clothes that are unique and personal. Clothes to push the boundaries of what is wearable without compromising on comfort and practicality, blurring the lines between artistry and craftsmanship. Beyond the depreciating value of clothing and the ‘appreciatablity’ of artworks.

The clothing has been mindfully designed to help our ambassadors feel confident in who they are and how they represent themselves, to inspire and germinate confidence and beauty back into daily living.
